so we’re talking about paper qualifications. Dull maybe.
So when you think about NVQ, Modern Apprenticeships, City
& Guilds, don’t think about dry bits of paper - think
about money in your pocket, car, holiday, clothes, clubbing.
What’s really dull is not being able to do any of them.
Here’s what you get for all your hard work...
NVQ1: Equivalent of 3 or 4 GCSE’s
at Grade D-E
NVQ2: Equal to 4 or 5 GCSE’s
at Grade A-C
NVQ3: Advanced qualification,
equal to 2 A-Levels
NVQ4: Big time, equivalent to
a degree
NVQ5: Bigger time! Equivalent
to post-grad qualification
Foundation Modern Apprenticeship:
at least 12 months’ paid training.
Advanced Modern Apprenticeship:
at least 2 years paid training.
